Use Video Cases to Demonstrate Complex Techniques
The ICRE’s Medical Education program has pioneered a number of innovative methods for training medical educators. Working with Drs. Carla Spagnoletti and René Claxton, the IDEA Lab produced a set of videos to demonstrate the Primary Teaching Method. This is one example.
The IDEA Lab team is amazing to work with. The video they filmed for us is top notch. They guided us through script writing, filming and production in order to create a highly professional product. This video allowed us to spend more time on in-class activity rather than didactic teaching as well as disseminate our teaching method nationally across medical specialties.
