Introductory Videos

The ICRE “flipped” its summer core courses in 2015, putting lecture videos online in order to make space for greater interaction and collaboration during class time. The IDEA Lab worked with course instructors to add introductory videos to each course to enhance “instructor presence,” which research shows increases student engagement, motivation, and retention. This is a sample introductory video from Dr. Galen Switzer’s Measurement in Clinical Research course.
